Pap Smear Interpretation
Pap smear interpretation is done with a grading system, providing accurate diagnosis of viruses like urinary infection and human papillomavirus.
The Bethesda system employs 5 grades with the first grade describing no changes in size and shape of the cells. The CIN (cervical intraepithelial neoplasia) grading system is more detailed with a few grades being equivalent to one in the Bethesda system.
