Atypical Cell Pap Smear
An atypical cell pap smear result can indicate the infection of a genital wart or HPV.
If the cells are mildly unusual in appearance, a physician must consider the sensitivity of the test procedure against the potential impact on the patient. S/he must assess disease exposure, physiological changes, or other factors that can result in an odd cytology. Then an appropriate treatment plan can be implemented.
