Negative Pap Smear
A negative pap smear indicates that the human papillomavirus is present with an ASCUS results.
Although cervical cancer growth generally take several years to develop and cytology may be without abnormalities, routine annual visits to a physician is critical if early cervical cancer is to be detected, intervened, and prevented. Anyone experiencing genital lesions or warts, or other problems is urged to see a physician.

Negative Pap Smear -
Human Papillomavirus, ASCUS
The benefit of finding disorders early in development is that intervention is easier. Some borderline or slightly atypical findings can be considered normal depending on a pathologist’s judgment. Douching potentially washes away cells to be scrutinized and menstruating conceals cells from view; avoid an exam in these instances. A negative pap smear indicates that the human papillomavirus is present with an ASCUS results.
